It’s 2010! Happy New Year from London!

After a very long hiatus spent working on different projects and thinking of ways to make my blog more meaningful, I am finally returning to the land of bloggers. I have expanded my knowledge on various topics, watched numerous documentaries highlighting social issues, and I am now more passionate than ever!

The details will be for another post, for now I just want to wish you all a Happy New Year from London!

Grow some balls Bachmann! (this said in a German accent)

Republican Congresswoman Michelle Bachmann of Minnesota was on Hardball with Chris Matthews last friday October, 19th when she made allegations about Barack Obama being “Anti-American”.

Let me just say that stupid people like Michelle Bachmann are always the one who think they know who the “True” American is, what America is really about and how this land belongs to them! This, when in fact they have absolutely no clue!

More bewildering, is when a few days later she refuses to claim responsibility for her words and accuses Chris to have tricked her. Trick her?!? I know it’s October but Halloween is still a few days away and you Bachmann do not look like a kid! Except perhaps that you might have the developing brain of a fetus.

Well since Miss “True American” Bachmann made that statement, her rival for congress has been able to raise $1 Million and the RNC is pulling ads on her behalf.

I’ve got a few words for you Bachmann .. “Trick or Treat BITCH, Your ass is Gone!” <– Also said in a German Accent.

Happy Oktober Fest!

Bush’s Last 8 years resumé

Bush will go down in history as one if not the worst president this country has ever seen. He did face some challenging times and had to make some tough decisions after 9/11 but Bush was never up to the task. His lack of foreign policy, conflict of interest with the Saudis and the oil market, and his snake of VP were like strings pulling on a puppet – Bush being the puppet.

Here’s how I resume Bush’s accomplishments over the last 8 years:

1. Cheated in Florida to become president

2. Turned billions of dollars of surplus into trillions of dollars in deficit.

3. Launched two wars – Iraq and Afghanistan

4. Never caught Osama Bin Laden

5. Tripled the price of gas

6. Crashed the economy

Impeach!

Tonight …

Tonight I saw one man defy an empire.
Tonight I saw children touch their future.
Tonight I saw a rich man offer his bed to a homeless.
Tonight I saw a woman give birth to a beautiful idea.
Tonight I saw a warden empty his prison.
Tonight I saw a long gone father return to his family.
Tonight I saw a blind man see.
Tonight I saw an enemy forgive.
Tonight I saw a teacher learn from her students.
Tonight I pledged allegiance to the flag of the United States of America, and to the republic for which it stands, one nation, under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.
Tonight I saw Barack Obama.

Remember, Remember, the 27th of July 2004!

Watch Barack Obama’s speech at the Democratic Convention in 2004. And don’t miss Barack Obama’s speech tonight as he accepts his nomination as the 2008 Democratic Presidential Candidate before a crowd of more than 70,000 people!

“my parents gave me an African name, Barack or Blessing, believing that in a tolerant America your name is no barrier to success … in a generous America you don’t have to be rich to achieve your potential” – Barack Obama

America, please wake up, open your eyes, there is a beautiful world behind the doors of HOPE, do not let fear prevent you from opening that door.

VOTE! But vote SMART!

Pull out of garage – Left on Durango – Right on National – Left on Robertson – Right on Wilshire – Left on Fairfax – Right on Sunset – Left on Labrea – Arrive at Hollywood blvd.

This is my weekday routine to get to Hollywood. I like to look at the pavement when I drive. I am an observer. It’s amazing what you can learn about people by just observing them. For the past two days I’ve observed two different yet similar people at the corner of Robertson and Pico (for those who know). Two homeless men. Two mentally disturbed homeless men!

The one today, kept throwing a cigarette stick on the floor, act as if he was angry towards it. Then he would turn around, pick it up and talk to the cigarette. Stop and look around then smile. I watched him for about a 45 seconds or so. Yet for some reason it seemed as if I’d been looking at him for hours.

John McCain has based his campaign (or at least the latter part of it) on the surge in Iraq and how it so important for him to win that war. So I ask, “How do you win a war?” or “Do you really win a war?” or “Is a war a game to be won or lost?”. Because if that’s really what at stakes to become president of the United States, I think there is far greater and more important “war” than Iraq that we are losing terribly. And that is the “war” of providing to the American people. I can talk about this subject for hours but I will not get into the details.

Just think about it. If you can’t see it within your own life look at the life of someone you know. Better yet, look at the life of someone you DON’T know. Just take the time to look. Look like you care. Look because you should care. I know some people want you to be afraid to look.

So this November, take the time to VOTE but vote SMART.

Look because one day this could be YOU.

Look because one day this could be YOU.
