“I am my brother’s keeper. I am my sister’s keeper.” Words so deeply entrenched in our history and beliefs yet the people we rely on to at least provide our children with safe food can’t do it! It’s not as if they feed us out of pity, we pay for those goods! At the end of the day it’s all just words and how truly sad! The greed that has overtaken this country within the past couple of years and perhaps more is something we should ALL be ashamed of.
Do people really care anymore?
Blindly we have set on the path of following the American Dream, many of us not even truly understanding what it means. We have forsaken our moral values in the pursuit of money and vanity. As sad as the days we are living today are, with people losing their jobs and others their homes, I think it was about time we lifted the rug to really see how much dirt we’ve swept under it. And America we are so dirty!

Gregg is selfish! He says he wants to be his own man and can’t answer to someone else. This from a Senator! Well as a Senator Gregg you answer to the People, and the People voted for President Obama. That’s simple math: if A = B and B = C then A = C! (Thanks Samy!)
You show the true color of Republicans, just plain old selfish! Why are you in a public office if you want to be your own man?
Good riddance if you ask me!

My boss, Jeremy Hermanns, shared a link with me today. It is an article by the NY Times entitled Top Hedge Fund Managers Earn Over $240 Million .
I enjoy reading about people making money. I try not to be materialistic … ok “Too” materialistic but it gives me an idea of where I am on the “Dough Scale”. And according to this article … I got some ways to go.
Money might not make happiness, but it surely helps.
Um .. scratch that!
MONEY MAKES HAPPINESS! Then again it’s what you make of it.

Great News!
Rachel Maddow – one of the smartest voices on radio is soon to become one of the smartest faces on Cable television. The Progressive Talk Radio Host, whose show – The Rachel Maddow Show , that airs on Air America on weekdays at 6pm ET/ 3pm PT, was on Countdown with Keith Olbermann yesterday to confirm indeed that she now has her own spot on MSNBC. She is also known as the favorite to replace Keith on his show when he’s on Vacation. Um … could that be why her show starts right after his? Anyways, I’m truly delighted that I will be able to follow two of my favorite TV show hosts successively. Although I let the Fat Lady sing to the cable box, she’s yet to open her mouth for my cable internet! And not anytime soon.
Rachel Maddow has a lot of brain power and I’m sure her rating will fly off the roof. She’s certainly much better than … umm .. you know .. a certain Bill’O!
